Selected records from 1797-1950 are available from all Arkansas counties, including marriages, deeds, Circuit and Chancery court records, tax records (both personal property and real estate), probate records (wills, guardianships, executors and letters of administration) and some naturalization records. A number of records are missing because of natural disasters, such as fires and floods, which destroyed or severely damaged courthouses. Inventories for each county can be searched, by the county name and the type of record, on this site. To access county records microfilm in the research room, use the MFILM County call number.
